Group description
If you are interested in using your photos in a more creative way, enhancing them with music or using them to tell a story, record an important event, or make a statement, then this group is for you. Learning how to produce an Audio-Visual sequence (AV) with impact can open up a whole new world.
The Beacon Audio Visual Group was set up in 2016 to support members in creating audio-visual sequences and developing their understanding and expertise in producing them.
From September through to April, we usually meet on the first Monday evening of the month, in the Beacon Room at the Malvern Vale Community Centre.
The programme includes a mixture of workshops, sharing of AVs, lectures and an annual competition. Members learn how to put AVs together and how to develop skills and techniques. Some members enter regional, national and international competitions.
We welcome anyone with whatever experience they have of AVs, from those who have never dipped their toes into the world of AV to those with advanced skills.
