Hope you don’t mind, but I’m a very proud Grandfather having seen my Grandson Thomas on TV this week with my daughter Tamsin giving an interview about CLAPA (Cleft Lip and Palate Association) of which I am a strong supporter. His story is described with humour, and is also on both local radio and BBC Radio 2 .
Thomas, a member of CLAPA's Children's and Young People's Council, appeared on BBC South last week alongside his mum, Tamsin, in the lead up to this year's Children In Need.
Thomas - who was born with a cleft lip and palate - and Tamsin spoke about the support they've received from CLAPA since he was born.
Tune in to Children in Need on BBC One on Friday 14th November, when Thomas will take centre stage as part of the CiN choir
It is being supported by BBC Children in Need… and Thomas will also be performing with the Children in Need Choir on the night – Thomas travelled up to Manchester for rehearsals today.
The TV interview is at www.facebook.com/reel/2041992939973893
Thank you for your interest.
Best regards
Phil
