AV Competition

The Beacon Audio Visual Group is led by Peter Warner ARPS and was set up to support members in creating audio-visual sequences and developing their understanding and expertise in producing them. From Sept 2017 the group meet on a monthly basis, usually on the first Monday evening of the month, at the Great Malvern Hotel. The programme includes a mixture of workshops, sharing of AVs, lectures and an annual competition. Peter can be contacted using av@beaconcameraclub.co.uk.

AV Competition

The AV Competition takes place on Wednesday 20th April in the Beacon Room at Malvern Vale.

The judge this year will be Alan Tyrer ARPS DPAGB/AV AV-AFIAP.

The rules of the competition have been revised and updated and can be downloaded. The Photo Harmony section will explicitly include the interpretation of a song.

2022 AV Competition results:

1st Open - 'in the Beginning' by Sue Warner
2nd Open - 'Lost' by Peter Warner

1st Photo Harmony 'Coisich a Ruin' by Sue Warner
2nd Photo Harmony - 'A Birthday Gift' by Anne Johnson

Congratulations to all and thanks to all who entered and came along to the competition. Special thanks to Alan Tyrer for his thoughful comments on our work.
