Novice Trophy
Competition Requirements
This is a one-off competition which is open to any member of Beacon Camera Club who has not previously entered an audio-visual production into any club activity. This is an opportunity for anyone else to have a go and produce a short audio visual.
The subject title is ‘This Summer’
The production should be in an mp4 format with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It should last no longer than 6minutes but ideally around three minutes.
The winner will be awarded a trophy which they can keep in perpetuity. The runner up will receive a club certificate.
Guidance
We are not looking for a Steven Spielberg production. It can quite simply be a collection of your family holiday pictures, places you have visited, summer flowers or whatever else you think appropriate. It can be a musical harmony production with simply a series of pictures with accompanying suitable musical, or have music and narration. The competition will be judged on the quality of the photography, the cohesiveness of the show (think a panel of photographs), sound and production.
The competition will be judged by Peter Warner ARPS (Visual Art), ARPS (Multi media) at the first meeting of the AV Group in September.
Entries should be sent to Steve Reeves at steve@meadowview.eu no later than 7th September. You may need to use 'wetransfer' due to the files size.
