A call for historic video/film footage.

Received this morning. Let me know if you have anything and I'll pass it on.

Dear Beacon Camera Club,

I am wondering if any of your members can help with a BBC Documentary I am working on.
The Moon and Me is planned for BBC 4’s Moon Moment series, scheduled for next year to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landings in 1969. It's not the actual Moon Landing footage itself we are looking at, it is anything shot by cine camera owners at the time of people watching the broadcast, parties they may have thrown for a group screening or anything children/families/enthusiasts did to mark the event at the time.

There are a number of other documentaries in production, all of which
are focusing on the scientific and technological breakthroughs. Our
film is a social history of the event, focusing on the impact it had on the British population. That's why I’m trying to find personal archive and memories from people who watched the live broadcast, from children who were allowed to stay up all night for the first time, to adults who threw parties (and took pictures) or hired a bigger TV from Radio Rentals for the occasion!

Any help you could give me would be gratefully received.

Best wishes
